  • Bottom line is… I won't buy a car made by union labor. In my experiences, they have been poorly built and overpriced. Besides, who do you think really pays for all those union dues? It's YOU… the CONSUMER!

  • EXACTLY!!! Story from Tampa just yesterday... Drunk driver kills an entire family. Dad and all three sons killed by drunk driver running a red light. I guess the AAA is going to have to put "a spin" on how cars don't kill people.

  • So what is your spin? That if guns are outlawed this person would not have had a gun? Laws will NOT stop criminals from obtaining guns... just as laws do not stop criminals from spraying bullets into a crowd of people. Anti-gun laws will ONLY keep guns out of law-abiding people's hands.

  • Yes, American automakers do seem to have short memories. Many Americans, however, have NOT forgotten about the cheap quality, poor reliability, and low resale/trade-in value of their American cars. My last American car was a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee... need I say more?

  • I am not even convinced that people have found "1 bad thing wrong with Toyota." They have found 1 bad thing wrong with CTS. If you want to buy a Toyota that is exempt from the recall, just make sure the VIN begins with the letter "J". That means it was built in Japan and is not subject to the recall.

  • Artia679 - I think it is great that folks like you want buy, ahem... "American" cars. SOMEONE has to buy that junk so they can pay back our tax dollars. Besides, you can feel really proud as soon as they start throwing those multi-bazillion dollar bonuses around again knowing that helped to fund it.

  • Only $3500??? You are lucky! I bought a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and spent more than that in the two years that I owned it. It could easily break-down several times between fill-ups. What a POS!
